It is located in the state of Gujarat, India. It is located on a river facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada in Kevadiya colony, 100 kilometres (62 miles) southeast of the city of Vadodara and 150 kilometres (93 miles) from Surat.

You can get on the public transport or book a cab to take you directly to the site.  Also, GSRTC and other private buses operates from Kevadia to the nearby cities such as Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad & Rajpipla frequently throughout the day. Please visit GSRTC website for more details.
The closest bus stop to Statue of Unity is located in Kevadia. The nearest railway station to Statue of Unity is located in Vadodara, and the nearest Airport to Statue of Unity is also located in Vadodara.

Below are the tentative traveling duration from the respective cities:
• Ahmedabad to Statue of Unity: 198 kilometers (Approx travel duration – 3 hours 30 minutes)
• Vadodara to Statue of Unity: 91 Kilometers (Approx travel duration - 1 Hour 30 Minutes)
• Surat to Statue of Unity: 156 Kilometers (Approx travel duration - 3 Hours)

• The Statue of Unity opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Sunday.
• The Laser Light and Sound Show can be viewed from 7:00 pm onwards to 7:20 pm daily, except on Mondays.
• The Statue of Unity is closed on Mondays for maintenance work.

You can book your Statue of Unity tickets on its official website by selecting your preferred time and day, or buy it directly at the site www.soutickets.in. The Statue of Unity ticket price is divided into two categories i.e Entry Ticket & Observation Deckview.  Prices varies for both the categories.
Note: All the tickets are subject to availability.  However, we highly recommend that one should pre-book the tickets through our website before visiting.

As there are ample of attractions available within the close proximity to the statue, there is not any higher or lower end to your expenses. Eco-tourism bus tour is available at special combo rates.  You may also book Circular-Route bus as per your convenience.

The Statue of Unity is connected to Kevadia via a 3.5 kilometre long four lane road.

Standing at 597 feet or 182 meters above ground level, the Statue of Unity is twice the size of the Statue of Liberty in the United States, and 40% taller than China’s Spring Temple Buddha.
 
The statue also hosts a viewing gallery at a height of 193 meters from sea level, which can accommodate 200 visitors at a time, offering a spectacular view of the Sardar Sarovar Dam, its reservoir, and the Satpura and Vindhya mountain ranges.

While visiting the Statue of Unity is the main event, there are many other smaller activities nearby to make your trip complete!  To begin with, most preferred activities include Jungle Safari, Valley of Flowers, Children Nutrition Park, Dam view point.  Also other activities such as Boating at Sardar Sarovar Nauka Vihar, Butterfly & Cactus Garden, Aarogyavan, Ekta Nursery are quite popular too.  Dam and Glow Garden are illuminated at night.  You may visit it after laser show.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy is given here (https://soutickets.in). Tourists who have booked tickets online or well in advance can cancel tickets from ‘My Tickets’ in their login. Refunds will be paid automatically as per the cancellation policy mentioned in above said website. Tourists can also upgrade the tickets from the counter, though this is subject to availability of tickets.

The Statue of Unity is only closed on Mondays for maintenance work.

Tourists can carry either a soft or hard copy of the ticket. In case, if both the tickets are misplaced or forgotten, he/she can login to http://soutickets.in on any smartphone through his/her registered mobile number and get the soft copy of e-ticket.  Tickets are saved in "My bookings" section of website.

Your tickets are already inclusive of bus fare only from parking to the Statue of Unity, and you need not pay extra bus fare.  

There are no charges for kids below 3 years. Charges are applicable for children from 3 to 15 years.

Yes, there is a Food Court at Statue of Unity.  Moreover, Ekta Food Court is situated adjoining Children Nutrition Park.

The ticket is valid for one day.

Yes, wheelchairs are provided for the specially-abled.

Both cash and cards are accepted as payment. Please note that only Indian currency is accepted.

No, you can visit only as per your allotted slot timing of the ticket.  This is a 'must' requirement.

Yes, there are high-speed elevators to reach the Viewing Gallery.

No, pets are not allowed at the Statue of Unity.

Yes, there are restrooms at multiple locations including parking area.

A visit to the Statue of Unity takes about 5 hours.  Better to have an overnight stay to cover all locations.

No, there is no discount scheme for students or for any group of other categories.

Yes, there are many guides available at the Statue of Unity.

Parking for four-wheeler vehicles is chargeable. Parking for two-wheeler vehicles is free.

You can visit the ticket booth at Statue of Unity and Sreshtha Bharat Bhavan from Tuesdays to Sundays during the timing mentioned on http://soutickets.in.  Ticket booths are also situated in all parking areas.

Please do not worry as a team will be present to help you at the counter.

Tickets for foreign tourists are separate and a small form is to be filled up by mentioning details while buying the tickets.
